Brisbane metro customers receive free delivery, typically within 2–3 business days. Australia-wide delivery is available for all orders, with metro areas receiving flooring within 5–7 working days. We ship to every state and territory including regional areas. If your flooring arrives damaged, contact us immediately for a replacement. All our hybrid flooring uses a click-lock installation system designed for easy DIY fitting — no glue, nails, or specialist tools needed. A handy homeowner can typically install a room in a weekend. Essential preparation includes ensuring your subfloor is clean, level (within 3mm over 1m), and dry. You'll need to leave a 10mm expansion gap around all walls and fixed objects. Yes — every flooring order ships free to any Australian address. There are no minimum order requirements, no hidden freight surcharges, and no postcode exclusions. Delivery is included in the per-square-metre price you see on our website. The only exception is express delivery, which incurs an additional charge based on order size and destination.

We deliver to the ground-level entry of apartment buildings (loading dock, foyer, or driveway). You will need to arrange moving the cartons to your apartment via the building's lift. Cartons weigh approximately 25–30kg each. We recommend booking lift access in advance through your building manager and having at least one helper. Some removal companies offer a flooring carry-up service for a fee.

You can order up to 5 free samples per request. Samples are actual product offcuts large enough to see the true colour, grain detail, and surface texture. They arrive via standard post in 3–5 business days to metro areas. If you need additional samples or larger format samples, contact us to discuss options.

Note "received damaged" on the delivery docket before signing. Photograph all damage — both to the packaging and any affected planks inside. Email the photos to hello@hippofloors.au immediately. We will arrange replacement cartons at no charge. Do not install any visibly damaged planks, as this may affect your warranty claim for the damaged product.

Measure the length and width of each room in metres and multiply to get the area in square metres. Add all rooms together for the total area. Then add 10% for cutting waste, fitting around obstacles, and spare planks. For herringbone patterns, add 15% as the angled cuts create more waste. All our flooring comes with a manufacturer's warranty covering defects in workmanship and materials. Our 9.5mm SPC hybrid flooring carries up to a 25-year residential warranty and 5-year commercial warranty. Our 6.5mm SPC hybrid flooring comes with a 20-year residential warranty and 3-year commercial warranty. engineered timber flooring includes warranties specific to each product line. The warranty covers manufacturing faults including peeling, delamination, excessive wear, discolouration not caused by UV exposure, and structural defects in the click-lock system. It does not cover damage from improper installation, neglect, flooding, or accidents. We also comply with Australian Consumer Law, which provides additional statutory protections.
