A typical 3-bedroom house has 80–100m² of floor area (excluding bathrooms and laundry, which usually have tiles). Add 5–10% for wastage, so order 84–110m².

Yes. Whole-home installation gets better per-m² rates from installers (less setup time per room, continuous flow). You also avoid colour-matching issues between batches and may qualify for bulk discounts on product. We recommend ordering all materials at once for consistent colour.

Using the same product throughout creates a seamless, spacious feel and is the most popular approach. However, you can mix — for example, 9.5mm herringbone in the living area with standard 9.5mm planks in bedrooms (same colour, different pattern) for a design feature that saves money.

Measure the length and width of each room in metres and multiply them together for the area in m². For L-shaped rooms, break the space into rectangles and add them together. Always add 5–10% for waste (10–15% for herringbone). Our instant quote tool does the calculation for you.

All our flooring comes with a manufacturer's warranty covering defects in workmanship and materials. Our 9.5mm SPC hybrid flooring carries up to a 25-year residential warranty and 5-year commercial warranty. Our 6.5mm SPC hybrid flooring comes with a 20-year residential warranty and 3-year commercial warranty. engineered timber flooring includes warranties specific to each product line. The warranty covers manufacturing faults including peeling, delamination, excessive wear, discolouration not caused by UV exposure, and structural defects in the click-lock system. It does not cover damage from improper installation, neglect, flooding, or accidents. We also comply with Australian Consumer Law, which provides additional statutory protections.
